Having worked with AJ for 4 years, I was able to witness his core strengths and growth as a designer and teammate. As the sole designer defining the near and long term path for our motors product, Aaron pushed the boundaries of our design patterns and expanded the vertical with consumer-centric product enhancements. Later, Aaron seized a less-than-obvious opportunity to transform Marketplace on the web. In this long term effort, he collaborated with a central team and was on point for over 20 designers on our team for the successful redesign. This long term project showed rigor, flexibility, and determination. Aaron also served as a process standard bearer and dutiful intern manager.

Aaron is an extremely talented designer, who always provides an alternative perspective on any challenge or problem. Not only does Aaron have the ability to create thoughtful, intentional and well crafted designs, he is exceptionally skilled at managing all ranges of complexity, with his unique ability to understand the route problem or need, while also bringing a team together and driving work to the highest quality outcome. As a partner, Aaron is one of the most reliable, hard working, level-headed and creative collaborators I’ve had the pleasure of working with. Whether working on wireframes, prototyping or delivering final assets, Aaron is proficient and knowledgeable. When tasked with stepping up to support the rest of the design team, he heeded the call and helped to keep us all on task, in addition to performing his normal duties.
